Right Now - A Documentary And Advert

Hello fellow RightNowers,
 I've been too shy to show this till now cos it's so silly, but  anyway here is my documentary about squirrels with incorporated advert. Apparently it's not possible to make out all the words, but hopefully the pictures will tell the story... maybe I'll add the words to the blurb at some point. Sadly some of the colours & sound quality were lost when I had to compress it and it also went slightly out of sync - but enough excuses! I'm doing a new one now which is also instructional and an advert and has a catchy song which I can't get out of my head!

I have just realised that despite my valiant attempt to rouse my fellow bloggers to the cause I completely failed to rise my self. I apologies. So...right now I am saddened to hear that Anna cannot wink ambidextrously and feel grateful that I can. Though if it makes you feel any better my dear Anna I look like a moron winking whatever eye I use so it does not aide in any way with dating. On the theme of Anna how was the Adobe course? Saskia although I am not usually moved to such things I must say that your kitten pic did make me let out a little "ahhh".

Right Now - Uncomfortable Changes In Tone.

Right now I am totally charmed and delighted by Saskia's last post.

Also I am grateful that I ended up giving one of the people I manage lifts to our training course all last week meaning I got to know more about her in a few days than I have over the last 3 years - it's incredible to me that she has been through so much and is still so strong and positive. She fled from Sierra Leone about 12 years ago during a rebel attack, completely losing track of her husband for 9 years, having to cope with being separated from her daughter for similar period; arriving in the UK with no belongings, speaking no English, with nowhere to go and knowing nobody at all.

Finally I am pleased to have finished my silly cartoon and will post it soon.

Right Now...

...I have a little kitten asleep on my lap and grumpy old cat asleep at my feet. Is it bad that I don't think things get much better than this?? I have been making art and the cats have been snoozing most of the day! I feel all content!

Right now

I am a bit excited about going on an adobe flash course tomorrow and Sunday, but annoyed that my brain won't switch off enough for me to go to sleep now.

I am sad because I've remembered that I can only wink with my left eye which means I can only tell people that I hate them or that I'm married! No wonder I'm single!

...I am thinking OH GOODness, my computer has been LYING to me - my RightNow bookmarky thing claimed that no posts had been posted since Sas's moustache-ring post. (Good job I don't mind the word "post" and its relations). However, thanks to your comment the other day (yesterday?), Sas, I decided to double-check and lo, there have been some extremely (a)rousing posts from my fellow right-nowers! I feel born again! I've possibly had too much caffeine. 2011 is indeed the year for marvellous bloggings and general good stuff. I will post some good things. I will.

PS -  I LOVE the eye flirting stuff - Sas, how did you find the transition from winking twice with your right eye to winking twice with your left eye on Friday evening? Must've been tricky. Have you been practicing it for the last couple of months at the same time as practicing your new signature? xxx
